Jamie Jones grew up in suburban Philadelphia. He was graduated from Harding University in 1976, then returned to this area and has worked at Unisys Corporation as a computer programmer since then. He and his wife Donna met at Harding and have worshipped at North Penn since 1987. They have two adult children, Brandon, who also attends at North Penn, and Alyssa who is in Lexington, KY. As deacon of technology, Jamie looks for ways to apply technology to the work of the church. Jamie and Donna enjoy traveling and visiting our national parks.
Jim Mains grew up in the Pittsburgh, PA area. He joined the Navy in January 1983 and served over 22 years, retiring in 2005. During his Navy career Jim met his wife Janice, also a native of the Pittsburgh area and they were married 30 years in April 2017. Jim and his family began worshipping at North Penn in 1994 and Jim was baptized in 1996. He became a deacon in 2010. Jim currently works for SKF as a Business Development Manager and Janice currently works for Merck & Co. as an Admin Assistant. They have two children, Jimmy 28 and Jaye 26. Jim is our deacon of Community Services.
Steve Young was born and raised in Hugoton, Kansas. After going to college in Texas, Steve settled in Pennsylvania in 1988. He has taught tennis since moving to the area. Steve started attending North Penn in 1994, with his wife Kristen, who were married in 1995. He became a deacon in 2001. As deacon, he has served in a variety of roles such as education, family life, youth and worship. Steve and Kristen have two children, Abby and Carter, and live in Skippack.
